Files in this package:
SETUP.DOC You are reading it NOW!
MOBBS20.EXE The main EXE file. Totally UN-crippled but it
does display "UNREGISTERED" in the Door.
MOBBS.CFG Edit it for YOUR configuration.
MOBBS.HST HISTORY OF MOBBS.......
REGISTRATION:
I've saved that for last. First, we'll get the DOOR working and then, please
come back to this SETUP.DOC to read about the REGISTRATION.
SETUP:
Since a lot of Door Prgs are hard to set up, for the most part, i will TRY to
make this one as easy as possible for you to set up AND use.
"More BBSes" is a very simple door which allows Callers to View a list of
Local or Long Distance BBSes. The list is a simple .DAT file which is included
with this package.

You MUST have BRUN45.EXE in your MOBBS directory OR somewhere in your PATH
If you don't have BRUN45.EXE, it is available from MOST BBSes or you
may call here and get it.....
1. EDIT the MOBBS.CFG included in this ZIP package to your system.
2. Create a MOBBS batch file in your PCB Directory as follows:
** IMPORTANT ** DON'T INCLUDE THE "CMTS" IN YOUR FINAL BATCH FILE!
1.. echo off
2.. cd\doors\mobbs CMT> path to YOUR MOBBS door dirctory.
3.. mobbs20 mobbs.cfg CMT> don't change this part !
4.. cd\pcb CMT> path to pcboard.bat file.
5.. board CMT> return to PCBOARD.
3. Next, go to PCBSETUP and edit your DOORS.LST to include the MOBBS
batch file. Also edit your DOORSG and DOORS files to include MOBBS in your
DOORS Directories.
4. Make sure that the following files remain in your MOBBS sub-directory:
MOBBS20.EXE
MOBBS.CFG
MOBBS.DAT
Any other files may remain as you may need. ie. SETUP.DOC etc...
5. Now you should be able to log onto your BBS and RUN the Door. If you
experience any ERRORS, Please re-read this SETUP.DOC just to make sure you
didn't forget anything. If you still have problems, call my BBS and I will
do whatever it takes to help you get it going. BUT, I don't anticipate you
having any problems, as long as you follow each step. Don't forget to come
back to THIS DOC and finish reading it. THANKS and ENJOY!
REGISTRATION:
Very easy to get a regiatered VERSION of this DOOR. I just hate those
"UNREGISTERED" prompts flashing on my BBS when my callers use a door, BUT
that's how we SYSOPS get reminded that a DOOR Author did write the DOOR and
has released it as "SHAREWARE". MOST DOOR programmers request anywhere
from $15.00 up to $30.00 and up to get the registered version of their
door. This DOOR (MORE BBSes), is my very first attempt at writing a door,
so I thought that I would make it EASY and INEXPENSIVE to have the registered
version. I am only asking a mere " $10.00 " for this door. Less than the
cost of a carton of cigarettes and soon to be less than the cost of a gallon
of gasoline. HA! HA!
You have three ways to send your Registration fee and recieve your
REGISTERED version. "THE ONE THAT DON'T FLASH UNREGISTERED on your screen."
1. Send $10.00 plus $5.00 shipping and handling, and I will send you a
Registered version on a 5 1/4 floppy.
OR
2. Send $10.00 plus $3.00 for the phone bill and I will upload it to your
BBS right away. If you choose this option, create me a User's File on YOUR
BBS so I can avoid a lengthy logon and registration process. Include with
your $13.00, what name and Password you have created for me.
OR
3. Send just $10.00 and I will set you up a User's File and Password
here on Keymaker's Corner and you can Download it immediately.
Whichever option you choose, please be sure to include the following
information when REGISTERING:
BBS NAME, SYSOP'S FIRST AND LAST NAME, BBS NUMBER, CITY AND STATE.
SEND TO: Glen Rushing
P.O.Box 204
Daleville, Alabama 36322
FINALLY:
I have already found ways that I plan to improve and expand "MORE BBSes",
so your Registration will INCLUDE any and all future UPGRADES for the first
year after Registration.
